Protect your accounts

Be sure to regularly change passwords on all internet sites including this one. And it is very important to use different passwords for every site.

Note: For your security, we don't store your actual password on our servers, but rather an encrypted version of it. So, we cannot tell you what your password is even if we wanted to!

Tips for Creating Good Passwords

  • Use a Phrase

How about I love Thai or Dear God, help me learn Thai. In this way, you can make passwords that are long, but relatively easy to remember.

  • Add Padding

Just repeat a character or pattern several at the beginning and/or end of your password, like -----I love Thai-----.

  • Use Abbreviations

For instance, the password, iahayamawaa2, is formed by taking the first letters from I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all 2-gether — That's from a Beatles tune btw.

  • Minimum of 11 Characters

This is a good length for balancing security with ease of logging into a site.

  • Avoid Dictionary Words

Hackers typically use a password dictionary as a first attempt. They can try thousands of common words automatically very quickly.

  • Avoid Personal Information

Don't use names of family, friends, or pets. Also, avoid using birthdays or any other dates. These are extremely easy to guess."
